If you ask a hundred different players what the best GW build was, you’d probably get a hundred different answers. That is due to the fact that each player will have their own special skills and preferences and no matter what you select in terms of race and profession, at the end of the day, it is how you utilize that Guild Wars build that really matters. If you are new to the game or re-rolling a character, it is a good idea to carefully consider your options before jumping in.
One of the easiest ways to tell which Guild Wars build will be best for you is to try a simulator. You can mess around with different configurations that will allow you to test out the different Guild Wars skills and inherent traits that your character will have. These GW build tools are incredibly useful and should really be used by all players. By relying on one of these simulators, you can easily take the guesswork out of the whole process.
However, you may find that once you have your Guild Wars build figured out that it is just not working for you. Although simulators are useful, they really can’t help much when it comes to how you actually play in the game. If you have found that your GW build is not working out for you, the best solution is simply to re-roll with a different character. It’s time consuming, but it’s better than getting stuck with a character that works against you instead of for you.
