Many players have built up quite a collection of GW wallpaper through their time as members of the game and it can be a lot of fun to see just how many of these files you can find. While most Guild Wars wallpaper is just for show, there are a few other uses for it that may surprise you. In fact, there is even a way that you can use these files to improve the way you play the game and faster Guild Wars leveling.

Whenever you find Guild Wars wallpaper, take a few minutes to go over it carefully. See if you can tell which region it is from and whether or not there are any clues that can be gleaned from the file. In many cases, you’ll be able to get the answer to a GW quest, or find a hidden item, just by taking the time to look at GW wallpaper a little more carefully. Best New Features in GW Nightfall

August 16th, 2008 by admin

There has been a lot of buzz about Guild Wars Nightfall and the majority of it is very well deserved. This newest release offers a lot of different new features that serve to really take the game to the next level and it is easy to see why it became so popular so quickly. Let’s take a look at a few of the best new features in GW Nightfall.

  1. More PvE options. We really love the fact that Guild Wars Nightfall allows any player the ability to easily play against someone else – and there are literally millions of potential opponents out there. This gives you a lot more options not only to have fun, but also to improve your skills. There are few games out there that offer this kind of capability and this feature really shined in our opinion, making GW nightfall one of the best new campaigns we have seen in some time.

  2. The new skills. Thanks to the latest Guild Wars Nightfall campaign, there are now more than 350 GW skills that you can learn. This is a huge amount and unlike many games, the vast majority of them are really useful. We loved the new panel that was added to help you keep track of your skills and attributes in the GW Nightfall release as well and though it integrated nicely with the addition of all of these new skills.

  3. Better guilds. GW Nightfall really opened up the horizons for players in terms of having more guilds and better choices.

What is the Best GW Build?

August 16th, 2008 by admin

If you ask a hundred different players what the best GW build was, you’d probably get a hundred different answers. That is due to the fact that each player will have their own special skills and preferences and no matter what you select in terms of race and profession, at the end of the day, it is how you utilize that Guild Wars build that really matters. If you are new to the game or re-rolling a character, it is a good idea to carefully consider your options before jumping in.

One of the easiest ways to tell which Guild Wars build will be best for you is to try a simulator. You can mess around with different configurations that will allow you to test out the different Guild Wars skills and inherent traits that your character will have. These GW build tools are incredibly useful and should really be used by all players. By relying on one of these simulators, you can easily take the guesswork out of the whole process.

However, you may find that once you have your Guild Wars build figured out that it is just not working for you. Although simulators are useful, they really can’t help much when it comes to how you actually play in the game. If you have found that your GW build is not working out for you, the best solution is simply to re-roll with a different character. It’s time consuming, but it’s better than getting stuck with a character that works against you instead of for you.

Why Guild Wars Maps Are So Essential

August 9th, 2008 by admin

If you have been struggling in this game, there are several Guild Wars maps that are available that can make it a lot easier. This is a very complicated realm and if you’re not using the right GW maps, it is all too easy to get left behind. Since there are so many different resources out there that players can use for free to get ahead in the game, it only makes sense to take advantage of them whenever you can. Here are our favorite reasons for using Guild Wars maps.

  1. Questing is a lot quicker. When you know exactly where you are going and where to look for specific characters and items, it goes without saying that you can complete your GW quests in a lot less time. Many of these GW maps offer numerous advanced features that let you find out more about a quest while you are playing. Overall, this has got to be our favorite use for Guild Wars maps.

  2. Extra information at your fingertips. There are many GW maps available that are enhanced with Google maps features that can provide you with exact information about the region or realm you are in at a glance. This is incredibly helpful in many different situations, especially when you are completely new to an area.

Without Guild Wars maps, it is all too easy to get lost in more ways than one. If you have never tried using them before, we highly recommend them, especially for new players. You’ll spend a lot less time wandering around.

Why Grinding for GW Gold is Smarter Than Buying It

August 9th, 2008 by admin

This game has become so incredibly popular that many small businesses that offer Guild Wars gold have sprung up out of nowhere. These services make it easy to get more gold, but are they really all they are cracked up to be? In many cases, you’ll find that the Guild Wars gold is not only overpriced, but many of these businesses are actually scams and you’ll be out your money with no GW gold to show for it.

This is the main reason that grinding for Guild Wars gold is a smarter decision over the long term. While it is easy to simply order up some gold on your own, you won’t be getting the extra benefits that grinding can provide. For example, if you decide that grinding for GW gold is right for you, this can easily help you power level and you’ll be getting valuable XP at the same time. These services can’t provide that for you.

It also comes down to game experience. If you are not putting in at least some effort to get your Guild Wars gold on your own, you are missing out on a lot that this game has to offer. While it can be frustrating at times, grinding for GW gold does help you learn more about the game and will help you improve your GW skills. This is the main reason that we highly recommend grinding as opposed to buying gold. It may be easier over the short term, but in the end, grinding has far more benefits for players.

The Best Reasons to Use Guild Wars Cheats

August 2nd, 2008 by admin

Although there is a lot of controversy surrounding the use of GW cheats, the bottom line is that for some players, they are necessary. Whether you are a game purist but starting to crumble, or you are just sick of stumbling about, these GW cheats can make short work out of any problem and even help you become a better player. Whether you want to use them is up to you, but most players do once they realize the benefits that these resources can bring.

One of the best reasons to use cheats is that you can quickly get a lot of Guild Wars money in very little time. If you’ve been grinding forever, this type of GW cheat can save you hours and provide you with more free time to devote to actually playing the game, working on your profession and even having more fun. This type of GW cheat is probably the one that is used the most.

There are also some other great reasons to give Guild Wars cheats a try. Let’s say that you’re struggling with GW PvP mode and you’re really sick of getting trampled on all the time. A GW cheat that would provide you with invincible powers would be pretty cool, wouldn’t it? Well, there are Guild Wars hacks out there that do just that. These are perfect for those that are consistently getting owned in PvP or even in the regular portions of the game. Why not take advantage of a tool that provides you with that kind of power?

How to Get Help in GW Factions

August 2nd, 2008 by admin

Even though this new expansion pack is one of the best, there are still times when you’re going to need to get some Guild Wars faction help. There are a lot of new things to learn in this pack and even if you’ve been playing this game for awhile, there may be a few things that don’t quite make sense yet. Instead of wandering around, it only makes sense to get the GW factions help you need.

The first place to start when you need Guild Wars faction help are guides. There are literally hundreds of different GW guides out there that cover pretty much every part of this expansion pack. Whether you need help figuring out how to master your profession, or you are having difficulty with Guild Wars leveling, there are some awesome GW faction guides out there that will really be of some great assistance. These resources can take you step by step through your problems and help you solve them in a lot less time.

Another reason that a lot of players need Guild Wars faction help is simple due to a lack of time. There are a lot of tedious tasks to be performed in this game, but there are a few ways around that. By making use of some GW macros and bots, players can get the faction help they need and get back on track with their game. These are really well suited for players that only have a few minutes to devote to the game every day, or for those that just can’t take the tedium.

Where to Farm Guild Wars Gold

July 26th, 2008 by admin

If you are getting serious about getting more Guild Wars gold, you’ll need to consider trying some farming. There is no better way to quickly amass a lot of GW gold and you’ll be gaining some experience points as you go. While farming can be a bit tedious at times, it is usually well worth the effort. In order to make it easier for you, we’ll give you just a few of the best places where you can farm for the maximum amount of GW gold.

The Kryta Mission is going to be one of the best places and regions to farm in. In this area you’re going to find a lot of mobs that will be dropping some serious stuff that you can sell for Guild Wars gold. By far the best mobs to target are the drakes, since their drops can easily net you a few thousand gold pieces for your trouble. They are not the easiest to kill, but they do give you a lot of GW gold for the effort.

Camp Rankor is another great place to farm and while it won’t net you as much as the above spot, it’s a little bit easier. Bergen Hot Springs is another great location, as is Sanctum Cay. Remember, don’t leave after you get rid of the mob the first time. They will regenerate and you can go back at it again. With practice you can easily net around 1200 Guild Wars gold pieces in an hour, or even less time as your GW skills improve.

What is a GW Build?

July 26th, 2008 by admin

If you’re new to the game and just starting out your character, you’re going to need to make sure that you select a powerful GW build. In this game, the type of Guild Wars build you have is very important and it can have a big impact on how successful you are. While there are literally thousands of options when it comes to selecting a build, there are a few things that you’ll need to know before you get started.

A Guild Wars build refers to a group of skills, typically eight, and the type of weapons, and attributes you will be using. How you play the game will have a big role in the build you choose. For example, your build will need to be different if you plan to play in Guild Wars PvP mode. If you are playing in PvE mode, you will need to focus on the skills that will help you with farming, playing on your own or playing in a group. If you will be playing in PvP mode, your build must be centered around specific attributes that will be the most useful to you and your entire group.

Next, you’ll need to decide which skills are going to be a part of your Guild Wars build. This is where it can get a bit tricky. You will need to have at least one GW skill that is dedicated to dealing out damage on your opponent, one that will benefit you to keep your energy levels high and at least one that is meant to help your individual character become stronger.

Favorite Features in GW Eye of the North

July 20th, 2008 by admin

Guild Wars Eye of the North is the latest expansion pack for this game and it became an instant hit right after it was released. There are a lot of things to love about GW Eye of the North, but our favorite features are:

  1. The Caverns – these are a lot of fun and incredibly challenging to traverse. You’ll be dealing with multi-level dungeons that are packed with an astounding amount of traps. We liked the puzzles probably the best and found them to very challenging, even for experienced players. If you want to keep people coming back, you’ve got to make it just hard enough to enjoy, and Guild Wars has really managed to do that with this expansion.

  2. The New Armor – If you were ever disappointed by the armor options in the past campaigns, there are now more than 40 new options available with Guild Wars Eye of the North. We had a lot of fun collecting all of the pieces and found that they really were better than their predecessors.

  3. Improvement of the Hero System. This was first released with the GW Nightfall campaign, but it needed a little work. By the time this expansion pack came out, they managed to make some significant improvements to the system and made it more fun to use. If you got frustrated with this last time, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the fixes.

Guild Wars Eye of the North is a pleasure to play and got us hooked back into this game once again.
