Top Three Types of Guild Wars Maps

July 20th, 2008 by admin

If you’re struggling to find regions or just having trouble completing your quests, referring to a Guild Wars map is the first step you should take. There are literally hundreds of different GW maps out there, but there are only a few that will really make a difference in how you play this game. If you could only use three, these are three that you cannot do without.

1. Region Maps. These are incredibly beneficial and will help take the guesswork out of finding towns and landmarks. If you’re sick of wandering through a region searching for an out of the way location, these GW maps will be a lot of help. All the important points in a region will be marked out and you’ll be able to see the best way to travel back and forth.

2. Dynamic Maps. This type of Guild Wars map is not stagnant and is very useful for advanced players that are already familiar with the game or for those that are trying to learn how to play. When you are using a dynamic map, you’ll be able to enter in what you’re looking for and get immediate help.

3. Quest Maps. There are thousands of GW quests that you are going to have to complete and if you can plow through all of them without a map, you are pretty close to being superhuman. The rest of us rely on these Guild Wars maps to make quick work of quests, especially the more difficult ones. You can wander about for days, or you can use these to get right to where you need to be.
